What awaits you?

• You define, document, and promote your Software architecture design within the ECU project.
• You contribute hands-on to Software development activities (e.g. Proof-Of-Concept implementation, system configuration contribution/review).
• Furthermore, you coordinate activities and review the architecture of Software domain architects.
• You are responsible to ensure that stability, performance, security, and platform reusability aspects are always considered.
• You evaluate the impact of different Software solutions on the overall system design.
• You identify dependencies and drive technical requirement clarifications with the Software domain architects to ensure a consistent end-to-end solution.
• Additionally, you ensure that architectural concepts of the various Software domains are well aligned.
• Defining and communicating design rules for the overall product is also part of your job.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Previous experience as a Software developer (e.g. C, C++, Java…).
• Deep architectural knowledge of Linux or Android based embedded systems.
• Significant experience working hands-on with embedded software products.
• Some practical knowledge of virtualization technologies and/or containerization is a plus.
